Livestrong LS 7.9t Treadmill

Livestrong LS7.9T treadmill  - ImageIn this review I will attempt to get to the bottom of some of the most pressing questions to do with the LS7.9T Livestrong treadmill. This will allow you to easily see the good points and bad points of the treadmill, hopefully helping you to make an informed decision as to whether you want to buy it or not!

A good cause...
Livestrong is a charity foundation based company. A proportion of the proceeds made from the exercise equipment sold goes towards the livestrong foundation, which supports cancer research and cancer aid. Lance Armstrong won the Tour de France seven times in a row after beating cancer, and it is lance himself who has founded the foundation. When you buy a livestrong product, you will be supporting a good and honest cause.

How fast?
The LS7.9T treadmill is quite impressive when it comes to speed. The extra large conveyor belt can run up to 12 miles per hour – which is fast enough for any athlete. The reason for the extra large deck is simple: more room to breathe. With a larger deck, sprinters can get into their element, whilst the average Joe jogger can escape the worry of flying off the back. The deck is also fitted with comfortmax padding in order to absorb the natural shocks generated when running.

Am I covered?
You sure are! There is a life time warranty on the motor and frame, whilst there is a year in home labour warranty. There is a two year warranty on spare parts also. In short, your covered to the Max!

Noisy Belt!
Sadly it does have a slight downside, that has been picked up through almost every user of the treadmill. Unlike its more expensive versions, the LS7.9T treadmill is awfully noisy and does seem to rattle around a fair amount. This can make it quite hard to use with touchy neighbours or sleeping kids. In fact, it draws a lot of professionalism away from the model.

Entertainment?
When it comes to entertainment, the LS7.9T treadmill is in its element. Fitted with a ipod and MP3 player compatible stereo system, the LS7.9T treadmill can really help you get into the groove making you feel like your running in style. The machine is easy to use as it has wireless, hand-held heart rate monitoring grips. With a built in fan, there is no chance of you over heating!

Livetrack, workouts and incline settings?
The livetrack setting allows you to view your efforts, and the review the workouts you do. There are 9 different workouts to choose from, which is definitely enough to keep you moving and on your toes without growing board of a set 'routine'. You can really challenge yourself with a realistic 0-12% incline!

Appearance
The appearance of the treadmill is actually quite smart. It is has a clean and modern look that is not dissimilar from its more advanced, sister model at double its price.

Price?
When you consider all of the features that you get with the LS7.9T treadmill, you might rub your eyes a little when you see the price. Costing only 800 dollars, the LS7.9T treadmill is of extremely good value. In fact, the small flaws of the treadmill are soon forgotten at this price.
